Clove Essential Oil is extracted from the buds, leaves, and stems of the clove tree (Syzygium aromaticum), a tropical evergreen tree that is native to the Maluku Islands in Indonesia. The tree can grow up to 20 meters tall and has large, glossy leaves and small, pink or red flowers. The oil is extracted from the buds of the tree through steam distillation and it is dark brown or amber in color.
